I absolutely love reading old posts from forever ago by people that just hit the nail on the head until the wood is splintering in current day situations.



At the end of the day, all anyone can really do is just lighten up and be as slick as a duck's feathers. Or by some wrinkle vanishing cream for that plastered scowl.

Its pretty bleak.

So I got "fitted" for contacts today. After seeing Endgame in 3D, my eyesight has been seriously fucking with me and giving me some pretty intense and sharp pain along my temples and behind my brows. So I got some contacts, whoo! Look at them eyes. So blue. So no glasses. SO TRIPPED OUT ON DILUTION. I'm sitting over here looking like goddamn Professor Xavier. I'm seeing inside minds and changing lives here.

I just literally went to the store and bought myself a mini birthday cake for dinner cause I'm a 3 year thats moonlighting as a 28 year old. I have no direction in my life.

God this cake is amazing.

Jesus Christ.

I'm back in old shoes and its honestly a bit goddamn unsettling. Not in a horrible way where my stomach is knotted and I feel like I can't breathe...

But in that way of I feel like I'm stumbling and I'm stumbling hard. Like I'm getting hit full on in the stomach by the past and years of things I've either learned to swallow with dignity, had ripped straight from me while I was screaming with zero dignity, or things I've simply chosen to push from my mind and deal with at a later time.

Reading through so much history was uplifting and tore down some very slung together walls with barely any support completely down and reopened some deep things that I should probably go ahead and reevaluate. Life is a progression of time and essence. Letting things slip away isn't apart of growing and adjusting. Its just cowardice. I've always wanted to be an extremely positive part of people's lives. Whether its as something as silly as a person reading this journal or as big as actually getting to carry a conversation with people and BE in their lives. Bad days are inevitable, but I can control how much I let those waves ripple from me onto other people.

I haven't been.... well, Speranza, in almost 6 years.
6 years.

Time to put back on worn shoes. They've always brought me such close comfort. Lets dust off the bookshelf and let me show you how 6 years have changed me and who I am now. I left here around 22 years old.
